Marcus Reno

Marcus Reno was in charge of the only unit that survived the Battle at Little Big Horn. He was known as a coward after the battle because he retreated during the battle. He was originally not even allowed to be buried with the men at the memorial site.

His contributions to history were a good lesson to the government. It showed they need to actually know people won't do bad things and be cowards.
he really didnt have good values. He was a patriot and fought for his country but he panicked a lot and was very cowardly in battle.
He was in the greasy grass battle and thats about it that we know of.
He died after a surgery from cancer of the tongue at age 54.

Marcus Reno died in Washington at the age of 54 on died March 29, 1889, following surgery for cancer of the tongue.


Reno was the highest ranking officer serving under Custer at the Battle of Little Bighorn in June 1876. Reno with 3 troops, or companies, was to attack the vast Indian village from the south.

He was in the grassy land battle.

He fought in the battle of little big horn.

He was there to prevent the indians from running away but when he saw that it was no chance he ran to a hill pass the river and at the top set up a defensive position Intel the other general got there. and they ran.

Reno was a man that tried to his beast abilities to do the things he did.

his contribution to history was the little big horn when he went to attack the Native Americans.

He tried to sop some of the indians from telling the village of Custers attack but when he got there he was overwhelmed of how many Indians there where so he retreated.

He was one of the commanders of the 7th cavalry. He was very smart and graduated from West Point.

He was the comander of the 7th cavalry in the Battle of the Little Bighorn.

He died right before surgery for Tongue Cancer.

We think that he did the right thing by retreating. He saved a lot of lives. He held up good enough to stay alive to fight another day.

he tried to get himself and his men out of there because he knew they wouldn't live when there were 1,200 indians. he made it out and some of his men made it out to but not all of them and then he was called a coward because they thought he was running away even though he was just trying to save his men. he died of tongue cancer and i think he was being smart when he tried to get out of there instead of being dumb like Custer and getting himself and all his men killed in less than an hour.

Reno was one of the only people who lived through the battle of little big horn. He fought for as long as he could without losing his life to help Custer. He died after a surgery for cancer of the tongue. I think he was petrified with shier terror when he saw thousands of indians.

Crazy horse was a fierce warrior in the battle of little big horn. he died by being stabbed with a bayenett. he thought we were heartless.
