Crazy Horse - The Man

Sioux Chief Crazy Horse lead many battles against the US because he disputed treaties established by the US military. He is acclaimed for his ferocity in battle and efforts in preserving his peoples way of life. He refused to have pictures taken of him and most images of him today are interpretations, such as this one by Brian Fox. Crazy Horse is most famous for his leadership in the Battle of Little Big Horn.

He was a very effective part of history and he has a statue because of it. His statue shows native pride and he has great values of equality but he will stand his ground. He was in many battles related to greasy grass and all of that. I think that the indians had the right to fight for their land and i'm glad they killed the euros in the battle of greasy grass.

Crazy horse was a leader

He values were "My lands are where my dead lie buried." that means that Crazy horse cared about his people.

Crazy Horse was in many wars as in The Little Big Horn, Fetterman Massacre, and the Wagon Box Fight

Crazy Horse was in war and he died by getting Stabbed in the face in Prison,

Our perspective on the war is that they shouldn't of fought the white should have just kept their promise and did what they said they would have done.

He died from getting captured by the euros and stabbed in the back. He was a very brave soldier and fought as well as he could and was looked up to by many. My perspective on this is that he had the right to kill the euros and so did the rest of the indians. The euros violated the treaty and disrespected them so i am on the indians side.

Crazy Horse's contributions to history were that he was a visionary leader that people respected and his great responsibility to protect them.

His values were to protect his people, along with the traditions and values of the Lakota way of life.

He was involved in the Battle of the Little Big Horn. He also turned back General George Cook on June 17, 1876. He was a leader of the resistance. It was band of Oglala and Cheyenne that fought against going to the reservation.

His role in the battles was as a leader.

Crazy Horse died while his arms were held by one of the arresting officers and then a soldier ran him through with a bayonet.

My perspective of the battles is that it was weird. The indians and the Us were fighting over stupid things and the indians were fighting over something that was important to them.

Blaise: I didn't like it because it was a historic subject and it was about the war at little big horn.

What is your perspective of the battles between the US and the Native Americans?

We think that the battles between the US and the Native Americans were kind of pointless because of the treaties signed should have prevented the battles.

His contributions to history were he was ferocious in war and cared about his people and where they would end up.

What were his values?
He values the land where his dead people lie buried. And he wouldn't let people take pictures of him because he said it would take his soul. But I think like what Mr. Herbst said that he would just be remembered as a image and not what he did for them.

What were the battles he was involved in? What role did he have in those battles?

What is your perspective of the battles between the US and the Native Americans?
I don't think it was right because we gave them the land and then they found out that there was gold and then we wonted it back. So thats why I don't think it was right.
